Shiite News: The Navy of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has announced that another oil tanker violating maritime security laws has collided with a naval mine in the Strait of Hormuz. In a statement issued on Saturday by the Public Relations Department of the IRGC Navy, it was said that a law-breaking giant oil tanker loaded with crude oil, which was traveling on an unauthorized route in the Strait of Hormuz, collided with a naval mine while passing through a dangerous route and became victim to a powerful explosion.
According to the statement, this giant oil tanker had turned off its navigation and positioning system, and after colliding with the naval mine, this tanker is currently engulfed in a horrific fire, to the extent that the flames rising from it are clearly visible even to the people living in the coastal areas.
