“Era of American Dominance Is Ending; Shia Community Must Play a Collective Role,” Says Maulana Ali Murtaza Zaidi

Shiite News: Addressing a special gathering organized by the Islamic Students Organization (ISO) Pakistan, Skardu District, at Jamia Najaf, Maulana Syed Ali Murtaza Zaidi emphasized that the era of American dominance is coming to an end and that the Shia community must adopt an organized political and social role in response to changing global circumstances.

According to details, the gathering focused on the objectives of the late Supreme Leader Ayatollah Syed Ali Khamenei and Iran’s Islamic Republic’s resistance. Maulana Ali Murtaza Zaidi said that the late leader’s objective was to build a faithful and self-reliant Muslim community. He stated that Iran, despite facing prolonged sanctions, had expanded its capabilities and demonstrated that self-confidence can enable a country to withstand international pressure.

He urged Pakistani Shia Muslims not to remain mere spectators but to organize their collective strength and intellectual capabilities. Maulana Zaidi advised young people to avoid wasting resources on unnecessary expenditures and instead establish educational and research institutions. He also called for strengthening their commitment to the system of Wilayat al-Faqih (Guardianship of the Islamic Jurist).

He further stated that the present era represents an important historical opportunity in which Shia Muslims across the country must recognize their shared responsibilities and promote institution-building and collective unity.
