“We Will Not Remain Silent Over Saudi-Backed Forces’ Aggression,” Yemeni Armed Forces Warn

Shiite News: A senior military official from the Yemeni Armed Forces has issued a strong warning to Saudi Arabia and forces it supports, saying that the Yemeni military will not remain passive in the face of what he described as enemy aggression and movements. According to Al Masirah TV, the Yemeni Armed Forces reiterated that they would not hesitate to respond forcefully to any attack by Saudi-backed forces.

Speaking on condition of anonymity, the Yemeni military official strongly condemned a recent attack on the home of a Yemeni civilian in the Al-Jarahi district of western Yemen’s Hudaydah province. He described the incident as another shameful addition to what he characterized as serious war crimes committed by Saudi Arabia and forces it supports.

The official warned that any gathering of forces affiliated with Saudi Arabia on Yemeni territory would be considered a legitimate military target by the Yemeni Armed Forces.

The Yemeni official further said that the armed forces would firmly confront any attempt or preparation by the opposing side to launch a ground offensive and would not allow such forces to advance.

Concluding his remarks, the official said that what he described as Saudi aggression would never succeed in breaking the Yemeni people’s determination. He said the Yemeni people remain steadfast in seeking an end to what he described as oppression, injustice and violence against them, and that no hostile action could weaken their resolve.
