Trump Threatens Fresh Strikes on Iran’s Nuclear Facilities if Program Resumes

Shiite News: U.S. President Donald Trump has again warned that the United States could target Iran’s nuclear facilities if Tehran attempts to restart operations at any of its nuclear sites.

Trump said that if Iran sought to reactivate any nuclear facility, it would be targeted again.

U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth also stated that U.S. sanctions against Iran would remain in place and that Washington was increasing pressure on Tehran, with the possibility of additional measures in the future.

Meanwhile, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said Iran would continue to uphold what it described as its lawful nuclear rights in any future negotiations with the United States and would pursue its policies in line with the guidance of Iran’s Supreme Leader.

Separately, Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters issued a statement strongly condemning what it described as U.S. threats to target Iran’s nuclear and other sensitive facilities. The statement warned that any such military action would be viewed as an expansion of the conflict across the region.

It further warned that, in such a scenario, the interests of the United States, its allies, and its partners in the region would become targets for action by the Iranian Armed Forces.
