Shiite News: Deputy Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami and Secretary General of the Milli Yakjehti Council, Liaquat Baloch, said that the United States’ plan to pit Arab countries against Iran and seize Iranian oil installations in a manner similar to Venezuela has completely failed. He said the time has come for the Middle East to be cleared of American troops.
Addressing a condolence reference organized by the Punjab University Academic Staff Association on the martyrdom of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Syed Ali Khamenei, Baloch stated that the people of Pakistan stand with the people of the Islamic Republic of Iran, while the United States and Israel committed a serious war crime by attacking Iran.
He said the martyrdom of Ayatollah Syed Ali Khamenei has awakened the Muslim world, strengthened unity among the Iranian people, and brought global embarrassment to the United States and Israel.
According to him, the world no longer accepts America’s unipolar dominance. Many European countries, including Spain and Switzerland, have termed the US attack on Iran a serious violation of international law.
Baloch further said that the arrogance of former US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has pushed the world toward an energy crisis, while Iran’s devastating missile strikes have once again humbled the United States and Israel.
He added that even US allies such as the United Kingdom have acknowledged that Trump’s “Venezuela-model operation” in Iran has failed.
He claimed that the sight of American soldiers’ casualties has left Trump shaken. Concerns over disruption in oil and gas supplies from Gulf countries have also created fears of a global energy crisis, forcing the US leadership to talk about ending the war.
Baloch stressed that the United States should withdraw its support for what he called the “illegitimate state of Israel,” warning that otherwise destruction and conflict would become inevitable.
He also alleged that the tensions between Pakistan and Afghanistan are part of a conspiracy by the United States, Israel, and India to destabilize the region.
He urged the Afghan Taliban leadership to recognize that strong relations among Pakistan, Iran, and Afghanistan are essential for regional stability and to stay away from the influence of India.
