Governor’s Rule in KP Is a Serious Democratic Mistake: Allama Maqsood Domki
Shiite News: Leader of Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen Pakistan, Allama Maqsood Ali Domki, while addressing a ceremony held at Masjid Husseini and Karbalai Imambargah Dera Murad Jamali, has said that love for Aal-e-Muhammad (AS) is a sign of faith and a fundamental requirement of Islamic teachings. He emphasized that Nasibi elements who deny the virtues of the Ahlul Bayt (AS) want to impose their Yazidi thought on society, and it is extremely necessary to discourage them on academic and intellectual levels. On this occasion, he paid glowing tribute to Maulana Allah Wasaya for compiling the academic treasure comprising 12 volumes titled ‘Ihtisab-e-Nasbiyat’.
Allama Maqsood Domki, mentioning the 2015 Chalgari and Jacobabad incidents, said that terrorists have completely failed in their condemned objectives of scaring the mourners of Imam Hussain (AS). He invited the public, scholars, and mourning associations to fully participate in the 11th death anniversary of the martyrs of the Night of Ashura incident and the ‘Azmat-e-Shuhada Conference’ to be held on October 23, 2026 in Jacobabad.
Speaking on the country’s political situation, the MWM leader clarified that dismissing the elected public government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and imposing Governor’s Rule is a serious political and democratic mistake. He said that the wrong policies of the rulers have already complicated the affairs of Balochistan, and for sustainable peace and stability in the country, it is necessary that the 1973 Constitution be upheld and the public mandate be respected.
