nayyer abbas The biased Provincial government of Gilgit-Baltistan on Thursday issued a notification of the release of three detained Shia leaders from the illegal detention of the government. According to the Shiite News Correspondent, Mehdi Shah led biased Pakistan people’s Party, Gilgit-Baltistan provincial government has issued the order of the release of General Secretary of Majlis-e-Wehdat Muslimeen (MWM) Gilgit Maulana Nayyar Mustafavi, President of Anjuman-e-Imamia Gilgit Farqir Shah and Shia Ulema Council leader Hassan Shah, who were detained by the provincial government under MPO Ordinance from Muharram. The leaders will release on today (Thursday) from the illegal detention at any movement because the orders of their release has been issued by the provincial government. It’s pertaining to mention here that the Shiite leadership had warned the PPP’s Central leadership to release the detained Shiite leaders forthwith or face the countrywide protest movement against the anti-Shia steps. Gilgit-Baltistan formerly the close bastion of ruling PPP but the anti-Shia steps of the PPP’s provincial government has shaken the PPP’s popularity in the Shia dominated province of Pakistan.
