Memorial Gathering Held at Jamia Al-Kauthar Islamabad for Ayatollah al-Uzma Sayyid Musa Shubairi Zanjani

Shiite News: A dignified memorial gathering and Quran recitation session was held at Jamia Al-Kauthar in Islamabad to pray for the elevation of the spiritual status of the late Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Musa Shubairi Zanjani (may God’s mercy be upon him).

The blessed gathering formally began with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Qari Sayyid Sajid Rizvi, who recited the verses in a melodious voice.

Maulana Naqqash al-Hasnain served as the host of the gathering and, in his comprehensive opening remarks, highlighted the scholarly and spiritual qualities of the late Ayatollah Sayyid Musa Shubairi Zanjani, his life and character, and his significant religious services.

Allama Muhammad Shifa Najafi delivered a special address at the memorial gathering. Speaking to and advising the respected students, he explained the elevated status of the institution of religious authority (Marja’iyyah) and the position of the “Rabbani scholars.” He said that it is such a lofty rank that even the martyrs will envy its status on the Day of Judgment.

The gathering concluded with a collective prayer for the elevation of the rank and spiritual status of the late highly respected religious authority.
