The Popular Mobilization Authority announced the seizure of hideouts and explosive devices near the Iraqi-Syrian border.
The authority stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that “a joint force from the 33rd Brigade within the Nineveh Operations Command of the Popular Mobilization Forces and the 74th Brigade of the Popular Mobilization Forces found hideouts and explosive devices near the Iraqi-Syrian border,” indicating that “this came during a security operation carried out by the force that included a wide-scale search and clearance of the island adjacent to the Iraqi-Syrian border.”

He added, “A number of explosive devices and explosive devices were found and disposed of safely.”
