More than 635 Lebanese citizens in Karbala and Najaf, says MMD
The Ministry of Migration and Displacement – MMD – announced on Saturday recording more than 635 Lebanese citizens in the database in Karbala and Najaf.
“Based on the directives of PM Muhammed S. Al-Sudani and Minister of Migration and Displacement Evan Faeq Jabro, the ministry’s staff in Karbala and Najaf continued to receive and register Lebanese families coming to Iraq as a result of the ongoing brutal Zionist aggression on Lebanon, where they recorded 635 Lebanese citizens to be included in a database prepared for this purpose,” according to a statement by MMD – received by the Iraqi News Agency – INA.
The statement added that “the ministry’s teams also cooperated with the holy shrines in Karbala and Najaf to provide them with the necessary supplies and facilities.”
