Transparent elections not possible without nationwide security arrangements, Allama Baqir Zaidi
Shiite News: Allama Baqir Abbas Zaidi, president of Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen Pakistan Sindh Province, has said that transparent and peaceful elections are not possible without nationwide security arrangements.
Before the general elections, the incidents of terrorism are increasing across the country, the current situation in the country is having an impact on the current election.
He expressed these views while addressing the meeting held in the provincial election cell of MWM in Karachi Soldier Bazaar.
Secretary General Chaudhry Azhar Hasan, Allama Sadiq Jafri, Allama Mubasher Hasan, Allama Asghar Hussain Shaheedi, candidate of Constituency 102, 103, Haider Zaidi and other officials were present in the meeting.
He said that he condemned the killing of election candidates in other provinces including Balochistan and KPK, peaceful political activities are the legal right of the parties before the general elections.
It is the responsibility of the authorities to stop violent political activities before the elections.
He said that contesting elections by banned terrorist parties in the country is a threat to the country’s peace and order.
The support of political parties to banned parties indicates the presence of Takfiri mind-set in them, such people themselves will become a threat to their party.
After the increase in the prices of petrol, water, electricity, gas, food items in the country, now only the tax on breathing remains.
