Massive anti-Netanyahu protest erupts in Israel, clashes with Police

Opponents of the controversial judicial reform plan of Netanyahu’s cabinet demonstrated again following the partial approval of the bill.

Demonstrators clashed with police on Tuesday, causing disruptions by blocking major thoroughfares. The protest is expected to culminate at the Ben-Gurion compound in Tel Aviv.

The opposition to the Israeli government’s cabinet had previously announced their intention to stage a large-scale demonstration against proposed amendments to the judicial law.

Prime Minister Netanyahu had earlier rejected a request by regime head Isaac Herzog to postpone the approval and implementation of the bill, emphasizing its immediate enactment.

On Monday, protesters gathered in front of the Knesset, where security forces were deployed and confrontations ensued.
