MWM to announce comprehensive roadmap today to rid Pakistan of crisis
Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen has announced that hundreds of thousands of people will participate in Quran-O-Sunnat Conference to be held in Minar-e-Pakistan Ground on Sunday.
At the Conference, a comprehensive roadmap of the MWM will be presented that will help resolve the crisis Pakistan is facing with. The roadmap includes proposals to thwart terrorism, foreign meddling into Pakistan’s internal affairs, drone attacks and economic crisis.
These announcements were made at a joint press conference in which MWM central and provincial chapters said on Saturday that caravans from all over Pakistan from Karachi to Parachinar, Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir started reaching Lahore from Saturday. All preparations for a successful Conference have been finalized. More than 60,000 chairs have been arranged for the participants. More arrangements have been made for 500,000 people.
Those who spoke or attended the press conference were: Maulana Mohammad Amin Shaheedi deputy secretary general MWM, Maulana Shaikh Hassan Salahuddin, Chief of Shoora-e-Aali, MWM, Maulana Mirza Yousuf Hussain, Maulana Abdul Khaliq Asadi, secretary general MWM Punjab chapter, Maulana Mukhtar Imami, secretary general, MWM, Sindh chapter, Maulana Maqsood Ali Domki, secretary general, MWM Balochistan chapter, Maulana Sabeel Hussain Mazahiri, secretary general, MWM, Khyber Pukhtoonkhwa, Maulana Shaikh Nayyar Mustafavi, secretary general, MWM, Gilgit-Baltistan chapter, Maulana Tasawur Hussain Jawadi, secretary general, MWM, Azad Jammu & Kashmir.
They said that noted religious scholars, zakireen, notables and a large number of youth, women and children, would participate in the Conference. Their huge participation will prove that children of pioneers of Pakistan will not allow world imperialist power U.S. and its agents Israel and India to conspire against Pakistan.
They vowed that Quran-O-Sunnat Conference would be a clear message to the U.S. and Israel that they must desist from their plots aimed at destabilizing Pakistan.
At least 500,000 people are expected to be attending the conference on self-help basis. Many caravans have reached Lahore and many others from five provinces are on their way to arrive in Lahore.
They said they have requested Punjab Government to make appropriate and adequate arrangements for foolproof security for the caravans attending Quran-O-Sunnat Conference. Punjab Government and intelligence agencies should take notice of news reports that there were security threats in Lahore and adopt foolproof security measures.
The MWM has arranged 4,000 volunteers with the cooperation of allied organisations so that they help police improve the security measures together with MWM. Thus, they will be able to counter and foil any nefarious design of enemies.
The MWM leaders thanked all those recognized religious scholars, zakireen and organisations who have announced their support and participation in Quran-O-Sunnat Conference.
