Important Meeting of Pakistan, Turkey, and Saudi Arabia Under Mecca Agreement, High-Level Pakistani Delegation Departs for Riyadh

Shiite News: An important meeting of the Political and Defense Committee established under the Mecca Agreement is going to be held in the Saudi capital Riyadh, in which high-level officials from member countries Pakistan, Turkey, and Saudi Arabia will participate. To participate in this important defense and political meeting, a high-level delegation from Pakistan comprising the Deputy Prime Minister, Defense Minister, and Chief of Army Staff is visiting Saudi Arabia. The Pakistani Ministry of Foreign Affairs has officially announced the departure of this high-level delegation to Saudi Arabia.

According to the Pakistani Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in this trilateral meeting in Riyadh, detailed discussions will be held on the latest security situation in the region and the ongoing mutual cooperation under the Mecca Agreement. Earlier, the Foreign Minister of Pakistan had also announced that this emergency meeting of the committee has been called specifically to consider the current situation in Yemen and the defensive operations of the Yemeni armed forces (Ansar Allah) against Saudi Arabia.

It is noteworthy that this meeting is taking place at a time when the aggressive Saudi regime’s barbaric airstrikes on residential and civilian areas of Yemen are continuing, as a result of which innocent civilians are being continuously killed and a serious humanitarian crisis has emerged in Yemen.
