Heirs of Shikarpur Martyrs refuse to end Shia Long March in Hyderabad
The Committee of Heirs of Shikarpur’s martyrs of Shia mosque refused to end Long March in Hyderabad during talks held by Sindh Government’s senior minister Nisar Khuhro in Hala on Tuesday.
Mr. Khuhro met the heirs committee and requested to end Long March in Hyderabad. He said that he would play key role in sorting out their complaint and help resolve the demands by PPP’s government. But, Shiites cited past experience.
Heirs of Shia victims of Wahhabis-allied Deobandi takfiri terrorism rejected the government’s hollow and empty offer saying that Sindh Government’s continued inaction against the banned and proscribed Deobandi takfiri outfits and their ringleaders bolstered takfiris’ terrorism capabilities. They said that PPP government was not different from to pro-takfiris governments of Punjab and Khyber Pukhtoonkhwa and also the PMLN’s federal government.
Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari, secretary general of Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen has joined the Long March. His deputy Allama Amin Shaheedi had earlier travelled along with Long March protestors.
Labbaik Ya Hussain (AS) Long March has reached Hyderabad District. Allama Maqsood Domki, head of the Heirs of Martyrs Committee said that they will reach Karachi late at afternoon.
The Committee of Heirs of Martyrs of Shikarpur Massacre had to resort to protest strike and long march due to government’s inaction against the takfiri terrorists who masterminded and abetted suicide bombing during Shia Friday prayer in Syed-ush-Shohada mosque/Karbala Moalla Imam Bargah situated in Lakhi Dar area in Shikarpur. More than 72 Shia Muslims were martyred due to suicide bombing by Deobandi takfiri terrorist there.
Sindh Government threatened the Shohada Committee (Heirs of Shikarpur Massacre’s Martyrs Committee) that the heirs would not get bank cheques of compensatory amounts if the participate in Labbaik Ya Hussain (AS) Long March but they rejected it insisting that they want to see hanged killers instead of cash for silence.
