Syrian President Assad, his wife contract COVID-19
Syrian President Bashar al Assad and his wife Asma al-Assad have contracted the COVID-19 virus.
According to the office of the Syrian President, both the president and his wife are in a good health and stable condition, SANA reported.
The announcement came after Assad and his wife showed mild symptoms and their PCR test came positive.
According to a statement by the office, the two will be quarantined for two to three weeks.
