Shia Ulema Council gives 5-points charter of demand to be met in a week

shiiteenws press gilgit kohFederal interior minister Rehman Malik has been given 5-points charter of demand with an ultimatum that demands be met within a week.
This was disclosed by Shaikh Mirza Ali, president of Shia Ulema Council Gilgit-Baltistan who led a delegation in a meeting with the minister.
He said that terrorists who massacred 19 Shia Muslim pilgrims must be arrested within 7 days and they must be awarded capital punishment for this unpardonable crime.
He said that if demands were not met within 7 days, they would launch a stiff protest that would continue till the acceptance of demands.
Interior Minister Rehman Malik assured the delegation that their demands were legitimate and whole nation is grieved at this tragic massacre of innocent Muslims. He assured he would ensure demands are met within a week. On this assurance, protest was deferred. Otherwise, protest would have been continued.
President and Prime Minister dispatched Interior Minister Rehman Malik as their representative after Gilgit-Baltistan’s leadership took serious notice of the massacre.
