Jafari Alliance celebrates birth anniversary of Hazrat Ali at Nishtar Park in Karachi.

The celebrations Jashn-e-Maulood-e-Kaaba held under the aegis of Jafaria Alliance Pakistan’s district east chapter of Karachi.

The Jafaria Alliance’s head Allama Razi Jafar Naqvi, Karachi Mayor and others jointly cut the cake to commemorate the birth anniversary of Maula Ali.

Sindh Information Minister Nasir Hussain Shah, Karachi Mayor Waseem Akhtar, PPP leader Waqar Mehdi and eminent Sunni and Shia Islamic scholars also attended the celebrations.

Jubilant youth illuminated the Nishtar park and also held vigil to mark the celebrations.

Tanveerul Haq Thanvi, Allama Asghar Dars, Allama Qazi Ahmed Noorani, Allama Baqir Zaidi, Firdous Shamim Naqvi, Allama Furqan Abidi and Allama Hussain Masoodi also joined the celebrations.

Mir Takallum and Irtaza Jaunpuri, Abrar Hasan recited poetry to eulogize Amir al Maumineen Imam Ali (AS).

The scholars cited the birth of Hazrat Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib in Kaaba (House of God) in Makkah o 13th Rajab.

They noted that Hazrat Abu Talib was key holder of the Kaaba but the wall of Kaaba cracked to welcome the mother of Hazrat Ali.

They noted it was divine message to the world about the greatness of Maula Ali (AS).

Muslims and especially Shia Muslims celebrate 13th Rajab as Maulood-e-Kaaba celebrations for the reason that Hazrat Ali was born inside Kaaba.

Pakistan celebrates birth anniversary

The entire Pakistan celebrated the birth anniversary of Imam Ali with fervor and reverence with mammoth events to mark the celebrations.

Mosques and Imam Bargahs and Shia majority areas witnessed extraordinary illumination and colorful decoration.

Celebrations began soon after Isha prayers on 8th March which continued till 9th March.

His followers and adorers celebrate the birth anniversary of Amir al Maumineen on 13th Rajab according to Islamic lunar calendar.

Almost all major Shia Islamic parties and anjumans organized events.

Celebrations held from Islamabad to Karachi, from Lahore to Peshawar and Parachinar and from Quetta to Sukkur.

Moreover, celebrations also reported from Rawalpindi to Thatta and from Hyderabad to Gilgit Baltistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
