Shiite News: Israeli Knesset Arab member Ayman Odeh mocked Israeli leaders after Argentina lost to Spain in the 2026 FIFA World Cup Final, saying that Tel Aviv’s “bad luck” had affected Argentina as well.
According to the Palestinian Information Center, Ayman Odeh shared images on X (formerly Twitter) showing Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and far-right ministers Itamar Ben-Gvir and Bezalel Smotrich expressing support for Argentina. He accompanied the images with the brief comment: “An unlucky cabinet!”

According to the report, before the World Cup final, Netanyahu met with Argentina’s ambassador to Israel, Shimon Axel Wahnish, received an Argentina national team jersey, and described Argentine President Javier Milei as a true friend while publicly expressing support for Argentina.
