Cleric Accused of Sexually Abusing Two Children at Religious Seminary in Punjab

Shiite News: A report has alleged that a cleric associated with Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) has been accused of sexually abusing two children at a religious seminary in Punjab. The report also criticizes the authorities’ response to allegations of child abuse in some religious institutions.

According to the report, the alleged incident took place in Fatehpur Chattha, in Wazirabad District, where Abdullah Gujjar, son of Irfan Gujjar, who reportedly teaches the Quran at Jamia Qadria, has been accused of sexually abusing two children.

According to sources cited in the report, the two alleged victims are between 7 and 15 years old and are first cousins.
