Allama Raja Nasir meets families of Shia missing persons at Karachi sit in. Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen (MWM) leader assured them of all out support and continuous countrywide protest if the authorities failed to meet their demands.
Noteworthy to add:
The affected families of Shia missing persons continue to stage sit-in outside Karachi residence of President of Pakistan Dr Arif Alvi since Sunday April 28, 2019.
Therefore, as a leader of a leading Shia religio-political party leader, Allama Raja Nasir visited the venue of the sit-in. There he spoke to the protesting families.
Shia Missing Persons Release Committee leader Syed Rashid Rizvi and Sagheer Abid briefed him on the protest sit-in.
Allama Raja Nasir assured the families that he, his party and entire community stand by the families. He also assured that they would not leave them alone.
MWM leader assures countrywide protest
Furthermore, he also vowed to expand the protest to entire country should the authorities concerned fail to address the families’ grievances.
Allama Raja Nasir demand end to enforced disappearance
MWM leader said that the concerned officials must release innocent Shias forthwith.
He suggested that they should produce those in court of law whom they charge with any blame.
