Public meeting on Allama Arif Hussaini anniversary sees huge participation
Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen held a congregation in Islamabad to commemorate the anniversary of great leader Allama Arif Hussain al Hussain, who was martyred in Peshawar on August 5, 1988.
Tens of thousands of people largely attended the mourning congregation where MWM chief, his deputies and former close-aides of Allama Hussaini spoke. Apart from Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari, Allama Ahmed Iqbal Rizvi, Allama Mubarak Moosavi, Allama Shabbir Bukhari, Allama Iqbal Behishti, Allama Maqsood Domki, Asad Abbas Naqvi, Agha Raza and Ali Hussain Naqvi also spoke.
They lauded the services of great martyr Allama Hussaini for the sake of oppressed people of Pakistan and his anti-imperialist ideology. They said that under Hussaini’s dynamic and unwavering sincere leadership, people struggled against the unconstitutional military dictatorship in Pakistan.
Various stalls were also set up in Islamabad Parade Ground where the congregation was held.
