Today, on the 25th of Shawwal, the martyrdom day of Imam Jafar Sadiq (AS) is being observed.

On this occasion, mourning gatherings (majalis) and processions are being held in various cities across the country, with a large number of believers participating.

In cities such as Karbala, Najaf, and Mashhad, as well as around the world, gatherings and processions are being organized to commemorate the martyrdom of Imam Jafar Sadiq (AS). Shia Muslims are paying tribute by remembering the Imam’s teachings, scholarly contributions, and sacrifices.

It is important to note that there are two reported dates for the martyrdom of the infallible Imam: the 15th of Shawwal and the 25th of Shawwal.
