Mammoth Quds Day rally staged in Lahore despite bad weather

al quds lhrThousands of people participated in mammoth Quds Day rally that was staged in Lahore despite bad weather on Friday.
The rally under the aegis of Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen and Imamia Students Organization was held Islampura Krishan Nagar Haider Road to Assembly Hall Chairing Crossing.

The participants of the rally were chanting slogans such as Death to Israel, Down with the U.S., Palestine is integral part of Muslim Ummah, and Quds will be liberated soon.

Speaking at the Quds Day rally, Allama Abdul Khaliq Asadi, secretary general of the MWM Punjab chapter said that Quds Day rallies manifested the unity of Muslim Ummah across the world.

He said that huge rallies marked Quds Day in thousands of cities across the world. He said that in Iran, 770 mammoth rallies were staged. He said that hundreds of rallies were held in all big and small cities in all over Pakistan.

“Pakistani nation joined the call of Imam Khomeini and Imam Khamenei by observance of Quds Day enthusiastically,” he said.

Allama Asadi said that Israel and its allies have been isolated and Palestinians emerged victorious enjoying world support to their independent sovereign state.

Mohammad Abu Zar, a central leader of the ISO also spoke. He said that Quds Day rallies proved to be an Islamic referendum against Zionist regime of Israel. He said that the world Muslims gave their verdict that Israel posed serious threat to Islamic world.
