An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) here on Saturday exonerated two innocent Shia youths from the fake charges of killing of Azam Tariq, a leader of banned outfit Sipah-e-Sahaba. The ATC Judge Malik Akram Awan acquitted Shia youths Muhammad Ali and Mudassir Ali on the charges of killing Azam Tariq in October 2003, as they  were accused of firing at the banned outfit leader. The judge released both the accused by giving them benefit of the doubt, as prosecution could not prove its case. Talking to The Shiite News, Advocate Ilyas Siddiqui who represented the released men told that the court had already cleared them in 2006 from the charges of abetting the deadly attack on Azam Tariq and they were arrested on February 19, 2007.
