Karachi: Rangers’ retaliatory action, four Taliban terrorists killed

Four suspected terrorists were killed during targeted operation by Rangers in Northern bypass Khairabad area on Saturday whereas one ranger’s official was injured who was then shifted to the hospital for medical aid.

The Ranger spokesperson claimed that the dead terrorists were involved in the killing of security forces and were planning to kill police and Rangers personnel in coming days. Arms and ammunition were also recovered from the possession of terrorists.

On the other hand, the FIR against the attack on Rangers was registered in Ittehad Town Police Station in which acts of murder, attempt to murder and terrorism were included.

It should be clear that un-known terrorists had fired upon the Ranger’s mobile yesterday in Balida Ittehad Town area due to which three Rangers officials were killed and others were injured. Ranger’s personnel were deployed for the security of Friday prayer outside Huraira mosque.

According to DIG west Firoz Shah, two terrorists came on motorcycle and started firing on the mobile after which they ran away.

It should be noted that attacks on law enforcement agencies have increased since the start of Karachi operation. Terrorists have targeted police mobiles and officials, in retaliation of the operation, due to which many police and rangers officials and traffic police personnel have been killed.

These Taliban terrorists fired upon a police chock at Super highway killing one official whereas one was severely injured. The attackers also snatched the arms of police officials.

Police officials were also targeted during snap checking, three weeks ago, in Nazimabad due to which two police officials were killed.
