Vehari: Terrorist of LeJ arrested for insulting Sahaba (rz) on Facebook

An important activist of LeJ Asim Nawaz Kaleem was arrested from Vehari city of Punjab for spreading extremism and aggressiveness by insulting Sahaba on Facebook. According to Police officials, Asim Nawaz had made a fake Facebook account and had been spreading violence by insulting Sahaba (rz). Special cell of security department traced the fake account and arrested the terrorist when he came to police station for the meeting of fourth schedule. The terrorist Asim Nawaz had been involved in various terrorist activities and his name was included in the fourth schedule. CTD agents, after arresting the culprit, had shifted him to an unknown place.

According to CTD Officials, Asim Nawaz Kaleem was an active member of banned LeJ and had been spreading objectionable material through Facebook and was arrested upon identification and had been shifted to an unknown place for investigations. A case was also registered against the culprit in CTD police station under section 9 of ATA.
