Security should be guaranteed during Muharram ul Haram: Commissioner Karachi Shoaib Siddiqui

Commissioner Karachi Shoaib Siddiqui said that K-electric will not do load-shedding after maghrib from 1st Muharram ul Haram till Aashoor. He also appealed to Ulema and religious leaders to play their roles in promoting unity among Muslims, during Muharram ul Haram. He was addressing after overviewing security arrangements for Majalis and Jaloos during Muharram ul Haram. He said that administration of police and all other government departments will play their roles to celebrate Muharram with respect and devotion and will provide all possible facilities to management of Jaloos and Majalis and measures to ensure fool proof security will be taken. Additional IG police Mushtaq Mehar, DIG Traffic Dr. Ameer Ahmed Sheikh, Administrator of Karachi Municipal corporation Sajjad Abbasi, all deputy commissioners and officers of Karachi municipal corporation, water board, K-electric, DMCs, Fire brigade, health department and of other relevant city departments were also present in the meeting. Measures to ensure security and to provide all other facilities during Majalis and Jaloos were discussed in the meeting and Commissioner issued directions to immediately solve all issues. It was also decided in the meeting that all relevant departments will strengthen communication with all area administrators and will take measures with their advice. Allama Abbas Kumaili, Allama Zohair Abbas Abedi, Allama Furqan Haider Abedi, Molana Athar Abbas, Allama Waqar H Taqvi, Shabbar Zaidi, Shabbar Raza, Abid Raza and others also addressed the meeting and it was also decided that special arrangements for light and cleaning will be made on routes of all Jaloos and those areas will be exempted from load shedding.
