4 brothers, another Shia youth were taken into custody on Dec. 23

Four brothers and, another Shia youth who the media said were taken into custody for attack on Aurangzeb Farooqi, had been taken into custody on December 23.

“Four Taqvi bothers have been released on Tuesday night,” Allama Waqar Taqvi, provincial chapter president of Tehrik-e-Nifaz e Fiqh-e-Jafaria (TNFJ) said on Wednesday noon.

In his reaction to the broadcasting of the names of Taqvi Brothers on electronic media on Thursday, he said that it was unfair and against the journalistic norms to broadcast an unconfirmed story.

On the other hand, one Zeeshan Haider was also missing and his car was found abandoned. His family had reported the matter. Some reports say he too was held along with Taqvi Brothers in Gulshan-e-Iqbal.  

Takfiri nasbi terrorist Aurangzeb Farooqi escaped unhurt in an attack on his vehicle in Gulshan-e-Iqbal on Tuesday. The police has launched a crackdown on innocent Shiites in the wake of the attack. Shia parties and leaders have condemned the witchhunt against Shiites.
