Shia Ulema Council (SUC) Sindh Secretary General Maulana Nazir Abbas Taqvi on Friday demanded the Army operation in Karachi to protect the life of common people and Shiite Muslim from the terrorists. Speaking the sit-in protest demonstration after Maghrib prayers held at M.A.Jinnah Road Karachi against the Shia genocide in Pakistan, He vowed that we would announce our new strategy on tomorrow (Second day of sit-in protest) if our demands not accepted by the government. Maulana Nazir Abbas said that we are ready to sacrifice our lives for the holy path of Imam Hussain (as) but not to bow down in front of evil forces. He said that the presence of hundreds of thousands of Shiite Muslims in the sit-in protest demonstration despite the consecutive shia target killing in Karachi has exposed the conspiracy of Yazeedi-forces to isolate the Azadari-e-Imam Hussain (as). Maulana Taqvi said that the Government had completely failed to protect the common people especially the Shiite Muslims in karachi and Pakistan from the terrorists. Commenting over the recent engagements of SIndh government and its allied parties in electoral process, he said that Government and its allied parties were engaged in the election game and they were not interested to protect the common people of Karachi. â€œ14 to 17 people were killed on daily basis in Karachi but there is no government and law enforcement agency to protect the Karchiites from terroristsâ€ he added. Hundreds of thousands of Shiites have organized a historical sit-in-protest at Numaish Chowrangi, M.A. Jinnah Road, against the genocide of Shia Muslims in Pakistan. The protesters have condemned the systematically state terrorism, which has taken the lives of thousands innocent Muslims in the country. The protest has started on Friday after Friday prayers, which will remain continued up to Sunday. Shia Ulema Council has made special arrangements to in accordance with the long duration of the sit-in. The SUC has rallied support of almost all Shia parties and groups mainly the Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen (MWM) and Imamia Students Organization (ISO). Maulana Jafar Subhani of SUC, Maulana Sadiq Raza Taqvi, Maulana Mohamamad Hussain Karimi, Maulana Sheikh Hassan Salahuddin of MWM, Maulana Mirza Yousuf Hussain of SAC and others were present in the day long sit-in protest at Numaish Chowrangi.
