Sindh Govt threatens heirs of Shikarpur Martyrs to desist from Long March protest

Sindh Government has threatened the Shohada Committee (Heirs of Shikarpur Massacre’s Martyrs Committee) that the heirs would not get bank cheques of compensatory amounts if the participate in Labbaik Ya Hussain (AS) Long March tomorrow (Sunday).

The Committee of Heirs of Martyrs of Shikarpur Massacre had to resort to protest strike and long march due to inaction against the takfiri terrorists who masterminded and abetted suicide bombing during Shia Friday prayer in Syed-ush-Shohada mosque/Karbala Moalla Imam Bargah of Lakhi Dar area in Shikarpur.

Through Commissioner and DIG Police of Sukkur Division, Sindh’s PPP government tried to prolong the talks with the heirs committee but the latter refused to hold talks if the government doesn’t publicly accept their legitimate demands: military operation against takfiris in Sindh province, arrests of all takfiris in all over province and arrest of the notorious takfiris of banned Sipah-e-Sahaba (ASWJ) in Shikarpur including Akbar Muavia and his comrades.

The government’s negotiators failed to give guarantee and concrete assurance for meeting those legitimate demands that compelled the Wursa-e-Shohahda Committee to end talks.

The Committee also condemned the Sindh Government’s blackmailing tactics and made clear that the heirs of the Shia martyrs want public hanging of the notorious takfiri mastermind and abettors of Shikarpur Shia Mosque bombing. They vowed that Labbaik Ya Hussain Long March would be held at all cost.
