Ammar al-Hakim, Khafaji discuss expected alliances to form upcoming cabinet

The head of the Political Committee of the Sadr Trend, Karar Khafaji, discussed the nature of the expected alliances to form the forthcoming cabinet with the head of the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council, Syed Ammar al-Hakim. According to the Shiite News, a statement by the Political Committee of the Sadr Trend cited “A delegation headed by  Khafaji visited the head quarter of the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council and met Syed Ammar al-Hakim to tackle the address the political process and the nature of the alliance to form the upcoming elections stressing the principals of the Iraqi National Alliance in relieving the political tension appeared after the elections.” It’s worth mentioning that the Sadrists trend and Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council are the major components within Iraqi National Alliance, coalition of Shia parties, which gots more than 70 seats in Iraqi parlimentary elections.
