Kata’ib Hezbollah Iraq Expresses Support for Yemen’s Naval Blockade Announcement

Shiite News: Kata’ib Hezbollah Iraq has issued a statement expressing strong support for the announcement by Yemen’s Armed Forces and Ansar Allah (Houthis) regarding a naval blockade targeting Saudi Arabian ports.

According to the statement, the group welcomed Yemen’s decision, describing it as a legitimate response to what it characterized as the prolonged blockade imposed on the Yemeni people for nearly twelve years.

Kata’ib Hezbollah Iraq further stated that the move reflects what it called a new strategic approach of “blockade in response to blockade” and “escalation in response to escalation.” The group said the decision demonstrates Yemen’s determination to defend its sovereignty and seek the restoration of what it considers its legitimate rights.
