Enemy fighting a cultural war against Iran

Speaking to the scholars and seminarians gathered, the director of the Islamic Seminaries of Iran, Ayatollah Bushehri referred to the command of Imam Khomeini (RA) and said: “My advice to the authorities of this country is to consider the families of the martyrs.”

Ayatollah Bushehri said that there are always two sides standing against each other, and added: “On one side are those who are on the path of the divine messengers and on the other side are those who stand against these [righteous] people and fight them.”

He emphasized that those who stand against divine values and the believers have no power. “These people have no power and we should not fear them because they fight on the side of the oppressors and victory is always with the party of God,” the renowned scholar stated, in reference to the Holy Quran.

Ayatollah Bushehri added that during the eight-year-long Imposed War, all the countries in the world fought against Iran. “The difficult reminders of war have not caused our warriors to become disappointed but did not endure the hardships [of war] to give up this country’s territory to the Ba’thist enemy,” he said.

He explained that the enemy has opened another front against Iran – a cultural field front, saying: “Our duty is to fight the enemy with our pens and like the eight-year-long Imposed War, bring them to their knees.”

Referring to the characteristics of the martyrs of the Holy Defence, Ayatollah Bushehri stated that the martyrs are task-oriented, among those who ignore criticism, wise, vigilant, and not satisfied with only accomplishing the tasks mentioned.
