Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi attends OIC meeting in Saudia

Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi attends OIC meeting where agenda for the OIC Makka summit was finalised on Wednesday.
Interestingly, Iranian Foreign Minister Ministry official Raza Najafi who represented Iran at the meeting, seated next to Shah Mehmood in the Wednesday OIC meeting.
Earlier on Tuesday, Shah Mehmood landed at the Royal Terminal of King Abdul Aziz International Airport. Senior official of the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs Jamal Nasir, Pakistan’s ambassador Raja Ali Ijaz and Consul-General Jeddah Gen (retd) Sheharyar Akbar Khan received him.
Most importantly, this meeting will discuss the Middle East situation and the increasing tension between Iran and USA.
He is meeting personalities, including the secretary general of the OIC.
Before his departure to Saudia Arabia, he spoke to media at the Islamabad airport. There, he said that the foreign ministers meeting wpuld set the tone for OIC Summit.
Most importantly, this meeting will discuss the Middle East situation and the increasing tension between Iran and USA.
Furthermore, he said that a Kashmir contact group may alo attend.
The foreign minister said he would be talking to his counterparts on the sidelines of the OIC meeting.
Meanwhile, it is relevant ot add that US-Iran tension and Saud-led war on Yemen may divide the OIC and Arabs summits in Makkah.
