MWM opposes controversial judge as Chief Election Commissioner in GB. Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen Gilgit Baltistan spokesman said Chief Minister and Governor didn’t take Opposition parties into confidence.
He said that GB CM and Governor had reached deal to appoint their favourites against the rules.
He said that they had referred a summary for appointment of controversial chief judge GB for appointment as CEC GB.

Authorities concerned should appoint a non-controversial qualified person by taking the opposition into confidence.

MWM GB spokesman Ilyas Siddiqui further said that lawyers fraternity had already filed references/cases against the controversial chief judge.
Therefore, he demanded that authorities concerned should appoint a non-controversial qualified person by taking the opposition into confidence.

Furthermore, he called for cancelling the previous summary and for preparing a new summary in this regard.
