Iraq: Moqtada al-Sadr supporters protest near Bahraini Consulate

Supporters of Iraqi Shiite cleric Moqtada al-Sadr have gathering near the Bahrain Consulate in Baghdad over statements by Bahrain’s Foreign Minister against Sadr’s latest statement regarding the kingdom and its leadership.

Sadr had called for an end to the war in Yemen, Bahrain, and Syria, while demanding that the rulers of the three countries should step down promptly, and urging the UN to intervene so as to make preparations for fair elections in the countries.
