Allama Sadiq condemns putting MWM Gilgit-Baltistan leader in fourth schedule

Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen (MWM) Karachi secretary general Allama Sadiq Jafari has condemned the concerned authorities for wrongly implicating Allama Agha Syed Ali Rizvi, a renowned religious scholar and rights leader of Gilgit-Baltistan.

“MWM Gilgit-Baltistan secretary general has been punished for raising voice for legitimate rights of that region,” Allama Jafari said, citing that Allama Agha Syed Ali Rizvi led struggle for wheat subsidy for people and for reversal of unjustifiable taxes on people of Gilgit-Baltistan.
Allama Sadiq warned the PML-N government to refrain from victimizing political opponents in Gilgit-Baltistan, otherwise supporters of people of that region would begin movement against the imposed government.
He demanded exclusion of Agha Ali Rizvi’s name from fourth schedule forthwith.
