Mufti : conspiracy aginst Syria targets its stances, particularly towards Palestine

Grand Mufti of Syria Ahmad Badr Eddin Hassoun stressed that the conspiracy to which Syria is exposed to aims at targeting its stances, particularly towards the Palestinian cause.

Meeting a Mauritanian delegation, Hassoun referred to the army’s steadfastness and the Syrian people as to achieve victory over the enemies who target the whole Arab nation.

For their part, members of the Mauritanian delegation affirmed their support to the Syrian people against the US-Zionist conspiracy financed by some Arab countries, adding they will convey the reality of events in Syria to the Mauritanian’s public opinion.

They affirmed that thier visit comes in the framework of solidarity with the Syrian people, leadership and army in the face of the global war waged on the country and backed by Saudi, Qatari and the US-Zionist forces, pointing out to the misleading media campaign launched by a number of TV channels that are partners in shedding the Syrian blood.
