Muharram congregations in Bahrain

Like other nations. Bahrainis keep on to remember the supreme sacrifice of Al-Imam Abi Abdellah Al-Hussein (A) rendered in 680 AD. Huge majales and mawakeb al-azaiyah are being held day and night at all mosques, Imam Bargahs (husseiniya) and ma’atam. Black cloth is pasted on walls to signify grief over the unjust killing of Al-Imam Al-Hussein (A), Prophet Mohammad (S)’s grandson. Speakers highlight philosophy of Karbala tragedy as well as Husseini qayam. Tabrrok is served to all Husseini mourners.
