Moqtada Al- Sader: withdraw of confidence is an introduction to the reforms

muqtada al saderThe leader of the Sadrist movement Moqtada al-Sader asserted that “The reforms are the first goal and the withdrawal of confidence from the Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki is an introduction of the reforms in the country.”

He said in a panel discussion with a number of representatives of Iraqi and foreign media at his home in Najaf on Sunday, “The reforms can not take place without pressure on the Iraqi government.”

He added “withdrawal confidence was not our demand nor the others, but our first and last demand is the reforms, partnership and not to Marginalize others “noting, “I said and I am still saying , This is a promise from me to the other blocs that if their votes reaches 124 ,I will add them 40 votes.”

He noted that the withdrawal confidence is not the reason that delays the government of its duties, but there were precedent differences which are not over yet. “And I am not with the withdrawal confidence if it harms the Iraqi people.

It is mentioned that Al-Sader received in Najaf yesterday a delegation headed by Moaid Al-Lami the president of the Iraqi journalists Syndicate that included a number of media organizations, newspapers, satellite channels and others.
