National Counterterrorism Authority (NACTA) has claimed that it had issued threat alerts to relevant authorities much earlier regarding possible terrorist attack on Shia Zaireen (pilgrims) between Quetta and Taftan border town near Iran.

The June 2014 terrorist attack on Shia pilgrims, Army Public School Massacre on December 16, 2014, June 2014 terrorist attack on Karachi Airport, many terror attacks in Peshawar including on a church, on Shama Cinema, in Qissa Khwani Bazaar, etc., would have been foiled if the NACTA threat alerts not taken for granted.
NACTA had alerted the authorities of many plan of terrorist attacks all over the country but relevant authorities failed to take concrete steps to preempt the attacks.
It is relevant to add here that takfiri terrorists of banned Deobandi terror organizations such as Sipah-e-Sahaba (ASWJ), Lashkar-e-Jhangvi (ASWJ), Taliban, Jundullah, Daesh, etc., have claimed responsibility for said terrorist attacks.
