The fourth protest demonstration against the kidnapping and undeclared and unlawful detention of innocent Shia Muslims was held at Imam Bargah Martyrs of Karbala in Karachi late on Friday night.

Families of the illegally detained persons flanked by thousands of Shia Muslims gathered outside the Imam Bargah Shohda-e-Karbala Incholi. They were raising slogans against the undeclared and unjustifiable detention of innocent Shia Muslims. They demanded that either they should be released or produce in the court of law and their relatives must be informed about their whereabouts.
The protesters were carrying the placards and banners inscribed with slogans in favour of their demands. They were also lifting portraits of the detainees including Syed Samar Abbas, Syed Arif Jafari and Syed Aftab Ali Naqvi alias Nomi.
Rashid Rizvi, a leader of the campaign for missing persons spoke to the protesters. He said that enforced disappearance of patriot and law-abiding Shia citizens of Pakistan was against the fundamental human rights and intolerable for their families and friends. He said that law enforcers must act upon law to uphold the rule of law in Pakistan.
“Elderly mothers and fathers, wives and children and other blood relatives of these ill-fated missing Pakistani Shia Muslims demand of the President, Prime Minister, Army Chief and Chief Justices of Supreme Court and High Courts to take notice of the unlawful detention and kidnapping of these innocent Pakistani Shia Muslims from their houses,” he said.
It was fourth protest demo since Tuesday as thousands rallied in Nishtar Park on Tuesday and thronged road outside the Islamic Research Centre to protest against the illegal custody of the innocent Shiites on Wednesday night while Thursday night protest was registered outside Imam Bargah Shah-e-Karbala in old Rizvia Society. Allama Hassan Zafar Naqvi and Allama Ahmed Iqbal Rizvi spoke to the protesters. They and Allama Shahenshah Hussain Naqvi and Allama Nazir Hussain Taqvi of Shia Ulema Council also condemned the illegal detention and demanded their immediate release.
