Army chief in favour of enhanced military cooperation between Iran-Pakistan

Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa has said that Pakistan Army greatly values historical relationship between the two brotherly countries Iran and Pakistan which can never be compromised on any cost.

Talking to Iranian ambassador Mehdi Honardoost, he said that enhanced Pak-Iran bilateral military to military cooperation will have positive impact on regional peace and stability.
Ambassador of Iran to Pakistan called on Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Saturday.
Matters of regional security and mutual interest were discussed. The visiting dignitary acknowledged and appreciated Pakistan Army’s contributions towards regional peace and stability.
He also expressed his appreciation for ongoing Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad for elimination of terrorism from Pakistan.
