Interior minister will be responsible for attacks on Shia Muslims: TNFJ

Syed Shujaat Ali Bukhari, secretary general of Tehreek-e-Nifaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafaria (TNFJ) Pakistan, has lashed out at the interior minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan saying that his close allies are threatening TNFJ leaders and his ministry put them under fourth schedule to equate them with the terrorists of banned outfits.

“If any untoward incident occurs against Shia Muslims in any part of Pakistan, Chaudhry Nisar will be held responsible for that,” he warned addressing a press conference in Islamabad’s National Press Club.
Bukhari said that red alert because of terror threat in Islamabad and Rawalpindi; barriers from Shia majority areas were being removed in what appeared to pave way for the terrorist attack against them and their leadership. He said that police guards were also withdrawn.
These barriers and guards were provided after a failed suicide bomber attack on Agha Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, chief of the TNFJ, in 2005.
He urged the Prime Minister, Chief Justice of Pakistan and Army Chief to take notice of biased policy of the interior ministry. He recalled that TNFJ backed PMLN in 2013 elections and in response to that support the PMLN government was victimizing the TNFJ leadership.
He also demanded capital punishment to the terrorists involved in murderous attack on Allama Tasawwur Naqvi al Javadi of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, secretary general of the MWM AJK chapter.
