Leader Refers to Unity as Best Remedy for Muslim Woes

Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei blamed the Islamic world’s predicaments on “divisive plots” hatched by the arrogant powers, US and Britain in particular, describing Muslim unity and synergy as the solution to those problems.
“Today, the Islamic world is beset with many predicaments and sufferings, while the solution to such problems and woes is unity, synergy, collaboration and overcoming religious and intellectual differences in light of numerous Islamic commonalities,” Ayatollah Khamenei said in Tehran on Saturday.
The Leader made the comments in a gathering of Iranian officials, ordinary people, ambassadors of Muslim countries, and participants in the 30th International Islamic Unity Conference, which was held in the Iranian capital.
Highlighting the increasing attempts by the arrogant and colonialist powers to undermine Muslims and pit them against each other, Imam Khamenei said, “With unity among Islamic nations and governments, the Americans and Zionists will lose the ability to impose their will on Muslims, and the conspiracy to consign Palestine to oblivion will be stymied.”
