Karachi: Dangerous terrorists of LeJ and Al-Qaeda arrested in police raid

Shiite News: Rizvia police and secret agency has arrested ten militants of banned organizations involved in planning the attack on Pervaiz Musharraf and several acts of target killing and has also recovered arms and hand grenades from their custody.

According to details, in a joint raid by Rizvia police and secret agency the leader of LeJ (Mufti Shahid group) Junaid ur Rehman and 9 other militants, named Abdul Haq Haidri alias Gulan Shah Haidri, Muhammad Zahid Nazir Chaudhry alias Zahid arain, Saeed Ahmed, Zafar Iqbal, Maaz Noor, Muhammad Sajid, Fida Rehman and Muhammad Altaf alias Shahid, were arrested and 2 Kalashnikovs, 3 TT pistols and 4 hand grenades were also recovered from their custody. Arrested militants belonged to banned LeJ, Al-Qaeda subcontinent and TTP.

According to SHO Rizvia Idrees Bangash, arrested terrorists were involved in planning the attack on former President Pervaiz Musharraf, killing of PSO’s director Shaukat Raza and in several acts of target killing of doctors, lawyers and in several acts of terrorism. He told that militants received the training from LeJ camps in Afghanistan.
