Four Mortar Shells Target Imam Hassan Askari Shrine in Samarra, 7 Injured

According to informed Iraqi security forces, four mortar shells targeted the holy shrines of Imam Hassan Askari and Imam Hadi (PBUT) located in in Samarra last night.

On the eve of the martyrdom of 11nth Shiite Imam, Imam Hassan Askari (A’), 3 mortar shells hit Al Qalah area which is 2 kilometers far from the holy shrine and the fourth mortar shell exploded in the Al Abu Nissan area just seven hundred meters meters far from the holy shrines.

It is said that 7 people injured.
