Oath-Taking Ceremony Held at Allama Sajid Ali Naqvi’s Office in Najaf, Sheikh Mujeer Muhammad Mithmi Appointed New Director

Shiite News: A dignified oath-taking and farewell ceremony was held at the office of Allama Sajid Ali Naqvi in Najaf Ashraf, Iraq, where Hujjat al-Islam Maulana Sheikh Mujeer Muhammad Mithmi took the oath of office after being appointed as the new representative and director of the office.

The ceremony formally began with the recitation of the Holy Quran, performed by Hujjat al-Islam Maulana Sheikh Nazar Hussain, while Hujjat al-Islam Maulana Sheikh Mohsin served as the host. A farewell ceremony was also held in honor of the office’s outgoing representative and director, Muhammad Saleem Anwar.

In his address, Muhammad Saleem Anwar expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the office cabinet, executive council and respected religious scholars serving on the supervisory council for their strong cooperation and support during his tenure.

Later, the newly appointed representative and director, Hujjat al-Islam Maulana Sheikh Mujeer Muhammad Mithmi, took the oath of office. Thanking the religious scholars and members, he expressed his determination to use all his abilities to carry forward the office’s affairs with sincerity, discipline and a strong sense of responsibility.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, Secretary of the Supervisory Council Hujjat al-Islam Maulana Sheikh Sabir Hussain Jawadi offered special prayers for the success of the office, increased blessings and success for the religious scholars, and success for the new director. The ceremony formally concluded with a prayer for Imam al-Mahdi (may Allah hasten his reappearance).
