Two More US Spy Drones Brought Down Over Qeshm: IRGC

Shiite News: The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps has reported that two more American-made spy drones have been brought down to the ground by its electronic warfare system in the airspace of Qeshm Island. The IRGC’s Public Relations Department issued two statements regarding this operation.

According to the statements, both drones were of the MQM-170 type. The IRGC has claimed that, as a result of the action of its advanced electronic warfare system, it prevented them from continuing their flight and forced them to land on the ground.

In the IRGC’s announcement, these aircraft have been described as the fifth and sixth spy drones of this type. The location of the operation was stated to be the airspace of Qeshm Island.

The announcement described this success as the result of the action of the IRGC Air Force’s advanced electronic warfare system. The report of the downing of both drones was given in two statements issued simultaneously by the Public Relations Department.
